Rice bran crude oil
Rice bran crude oil (RBCO) is extracted from fresh rice bran. Because bran turns rancid quickly once milled, the speed from mill to extraction decides its free fatty acid level, and with it the oil's grade and value.
What it offers
- Used in animal and cattle feed as a concentrated energy source
- Feedstock for edible refined rice bran oil
- Carries gamma-oryzanol, tocopherols and tocotrienols
- High-FFA grades suit soap, fatty acid and other industrial uses
Used by
Cattle feed and poultry feed manufacturers, physical and chemical refineries, oleochemical and soap makers.
